Senior HSE Engineer – Offshore Oil & Gas (GCC)

Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced HSE Lead in Abu Dhabi to ensure HSSEQ goals are met across EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. You will provide leadership to PMC and EPC teams and drive HSSE plans, audits and incident investigations.

Offshore exposure and GCC region experience are preferred, with a focus on implementing the Project HSSE Standards and ensuring contractor compliance throughout execution.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• At least 3 years in a similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in PMC & ADNOC and EPC phases; offshore experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
• Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, on time, within budget and with quality.
• Provide HSSE guidance to the Project and ensure HSSE management systems are implemented.
• Monitor EPC Contractor to ensure Project HSSE objectives are met.
• Lead the PMC HSSE resources and coordinate with EPC Contractor teams.
• Champion the Project Safety culture and engagement activities.
• Identify and resolve HSSE issues during EPC phase.
• Coordinate with PMC Construction Engineers on HSSE tasks during construction.
