Job summary

Novotel & ibis Balikpapan is seeking a hospitality professional to join our restaurant team. You will manage dining room setup, seating, reservations, and guest greetings, ensuring smooth operations during all service periods.

Fluency in Russian is required along with a diploma or degree in vocational hospitality. Freshers or candidates with up to one year in a 4- to 5-star hotel are welcome; you will be trained to uphold the hotel’s standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality is required.
• Fresher or 1 year of experience in 4-5 star hotels is acceptable.
• Fluency in Russian language is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room layouts and seating according to floor plan and guest flow.
• Greet guests at the entrance and seat them per designated tables and waitstaff assignment.
• Manage reservations, confirmations, cancellations, and communicate changes to management.
• Maintain hostess stand cleanliness and organization, and ensure menu folders are stocked.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, handle complaints professionally, and escalate as needed.
• Assist in cashiering procedures, Menu printing, and ensuring uniforms and appearance standards.
