Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer for Halcon to lead development of high-speed digital hardware for mission-critical defence systems. End-to-end design, verification, qualification, and technical leadership are expected.

You will mentor engineers, drive design reviews, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into robust hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field.
• 8+ years of hardware/firmware experience with emphasis on digital hardware.
• Experience in high-speed digital development, verification, testing, and system integration.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, and verification of high-speed digital hardware systems.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, signal integrity, PCB layout, and tests.
• Plan and lead design reviews; ensure compliance with specs and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements in hardware development.
