EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Engineer - Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) to lead the development of advanced GNC solutions for aerospace vehicles.

You will own the full GNC lifecycle from requirements to flight-test support, working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve robust, flight-ready control systems. The role requires strong control theory expertise and hands-on Matlab/Simulink experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant aerospace or safety-critical control-system experience.
• Hands-on experience designing/ validating control laws, autopilot systems or control-allocation.
• Strong knowledge of state-space modelling, linearization, trimming and frequency-domain analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Python, C or C++.
• Experience with verification/validation through simulation, SIL/PIL/HIL or flight testing.
• English proficiency is required for all roles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate GNC guidance & control laws and autopilot functions.
• Derive GNC requirements from aircraft-level and safety requirements.
• Design longitudinal and lateral-directional control laws with inner/outer loops.
• Analyse stability, robustness, and time-domain/frequency-domain performance.
• Support SIL, PIL, HIL and flight-test activities.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable GNC architectures.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical/Control/Robotics/Applied Mathematics or related

Master's degree or PhD in Flight Control/Guidance & Control/Aerospace/Autonomous Systems/Robotics
