Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Principal Engineer – Guidance & Control to provide technical leadership in the development of advanced G&C systems for guided weapon platforms. You will mentor engineers, support flight testing, and drive the investigation of new technologies and algorithms.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace or related engineering, 10–15 years of experience, and proven leadership. EDGE offers tax-free salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of engineering experience, preferably with guided weapon or missile systems.
• Strong expertise in Guidance & Control, modeling, tracking, estimation, optimization, and verification.
• Min 5 years in engineering leadership or management, capable of guiding teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of Guidance & Control systems and algorithms.
• Mentor engineers across levels, support technical decision-making and best practices.
• Lead SIL/PIL/HIL testing, pre-flight prep, flight testing, and post-flight analysis.
• Advance G&C capabilities through tools, labs, methodologies, and new technologies.
