Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer – Guidance & Control to lead advanced G&C development and verification for guided weapon systems. You will mentor teams, support flight tests, and drive adoption of cutting-edge algorithms and tools.

The role requires 10–15 years in engineering with G&C expertise, plus 5+ years in leadership. Expect a high-impact position with opportunities to shape technology across EDGE’s defence portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Embedded Systems Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years in engineering, preferably with guided weapon or missile systems and G&C.
• Strong G&C knowledge including algorithms, modeling, tracking, estimation and verification.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership or management with mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of Guidance & Control systems and algorithms.
• Mentor engineers across levels, support technical decision-making and best practices.
• Oversee system verification and flight testing (SIL/PIL/HIL) and post-flight analysis.
• Advance G&C capabilities, tools, labs, and new technologies.
