Job summary

EDGE is seeking a GNC Engineer to develop real-time guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous systems. You will design sensor fusion solutions, implement Kalman Filters, and work across avionics and software teams for embedded deployment.

Required are 8+ years in GNC, strong MATLAB/Simulink/C++/Python skills, and a solid background in control systems and flight dynamics. This role is based in Abu Dhabi with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have strong foundations in control and flight dynamics.
• Experience with real-time embedded software and sensor fusion.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, or Python.
• 8+ years in GNC design within aerospace, UAVs, or autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time guidance algorithms for trajectory generation and mission execution.
• Design multi-sensor navigation solutions using GNSS, INS, and vision sensors.
• Create and tune control laws for stability across flight regimes.
• Collaborate with avionics and software teams for embedded deployment.
• Lead system integration, SIL/HIL, and flight testing activities.
