Job summary

EDGE seeks a Senior Engineer - Guidance, Navigation & Control to own GNC solutions for advanced aerospace vehicles in Abu Dhabi. You will lead design, modelling, verification and flight-test support across multidisciplinary teams, mentoring engineers and shaping reusable GNC architectures.

The role covers requirements definition, simulation, validation and real-world testing with a strong emphasis on safety-critical control-system development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• 10+ years of relevant aerospace or safety-critical control-system experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and validating control laws, guidance functions, autopilot systems or control-allocation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate guidance, control laws, autopilot functions and control-allocation algorithms for aerospace vehicles.
• Derive GNC requirements from aircraft-level and mission requirements.
• Design longitudinal and lateral-directional control laws with inner/outer loops and gain scheduling.
• Support SIL, PIL, HIL, and flight-test activities as applicable.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable GNC architectures and verification methods.
