Job summary

Confidential, Dubai is seeking a seasoned Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end import/export operations. You will coordinate shipments by sea, air, road, and courier, obtain quotes, and select cost-effective options while maintaining schedules and compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing documents (invoices, packing lists, BLs, origin certificates), coordinating customs clearance, and supervising warehouse and supplier communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping & Logistics; UAE driving license and IATA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in freight and logistics.
• Fluent English, strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export shipments by sea, air, road, and courier.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations from shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Select the most suitable freight option based on cost, transit time, cargo requirements, and vessel schedule.
• Arrange bookings, collection, transportation, and delivery of cargo.
• Monitor shipments from origin to final destination and provide status updates to the manager.
• Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, and customs documents.
• Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and clearance agents.
