Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a Senior Sales Commercial Officer in Dubai to lead commercial management across bids, tenders and contracts. The role partners with Sales, Legal and Finance to optimize pricing, profitability and risk while ensuring smooth order handover to execution teams.

Strong SAP, CPM, and analytic skills are essential. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in international sales or related fields, a Finance/Business degree, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years in international sales, commercial management or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, PM, Business Administration or related discipline; CPM certification is a plus.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting and negotiating commercial terms in contracts, tenders and purchase orders.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk, liabilities, payment terms and credit management.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office; knowledge of Power BI and AI productivity tools is advantageous.
• Fluent English written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial partner to Sales through the opportunity lifecycle, independently managing commercial aspects of bids, tenders and quotations.
• Review, negotiate terms and conditions of customer contracts and purchase orders; identify deviations, risks and opportunities with Legal and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate and mitigate commercial and financial risks, including liabilities, payment terms, bank guarantees and credit exposure.
• Ensure commercial readiness for order acceptance and booking; facilitate handover to execution teams.
• Support sales forecasting, order intake planning and commercial performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Project Management to drive sound business decisions.
• Drive implementation of commercial processes, data quality in SAP and standardization initiatives.
