Job summary

edari seeks a Senior Accountant – General Ledger to manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activities and month-end closings for a major semi-government client in Dubai. The role begins as a four-month contract with renewal potential and requires collaboration across Accounts Payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury and other finance teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years of accounting experience, hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP

Qualifications

• Hands-on ERP experience required; Oracle Fusion is mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Excellent communication and coordination with multiple finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger activities with accurate postings and documentation.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions and month-end adjustments.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and reconciliations across group entities.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
