Job summary

Dove Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the general ledger, manage month-end closings, and provide critical insights for strategic decision-making. The role requires CPA or ACCA, 5–8+ years of accounting experience, and strong ERP and Excel skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance across IFRS/US GAAP standards.

You will partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting while mentoring junior staff and ensuring robust

Qualifications

• Must hold active CPA or ACCA designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and hands-on ERP experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Draft balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variances reports.
• Review and approve bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage statutory filings including corporate tax and VAT, IFRS/US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare required schedules and documentation.
• Support leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; mentor junior staff.
