Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant on a 6-month contract in Dubai to lead monthly closes, manage accounts payable, and support IFRS reporting. The ideal candidate has 7 years total experience, with 4–5 years in an MNC, and strong IFRS and SAP proficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating month-end close, preparing financial statements, assisting audits, overseeing intercompany recharges, and liaising with banks on trade finance and taxation (CT & VAT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
• CMA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA preferred.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
• 7 years of total work experience with at least 4-5 years in a MNC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that business transactions in the ERP SAP are reported in accordance with IFRS.
• Submission of entity wide financials as per IFRS on quarterly basis in SAP Consolidation Software.
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist with the month-end close and reporting in SAP.
• Assist with the annual audit process, including the drafting of the financial statements and related notes.
• Manage and control the payables/receivables process end-to-end.
• Liaise with financing banks, assess trade profitability, and control bank-related reconciliations.
• Responsible for tax filings (CT & VAT).
• Preparing intercompany recharges and balance schedules.
