Job summary

Akkodis in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Lead to own and drive embedded software and FPGA integration across Xilinx/AMD platforms. Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA platforms and SoCs.
• Proven track record in bare-metal embedded development and debugging.
• Strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems, drivers and BSPs.
• Experience integrating FPGA systems with RTOS or Embedded Linux.
• Ability to own the technical architecture from design to validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software development on FPGA/SoC platforms.
• Develop and maintain bare-metal firmware for low-level applications.
• Integrate FPGA-based systems with RTOS/Embedded Linux software.
• Develop and debug embedded C/C++ applications, drivers and BSPs.
• Support hardware bring-up and HW/SW integration.
• Oversee full development lifecycle from requirements to validation.
• Interface with FPGA, hardware, systems and software teams.
• Mentor engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and best practices.
