Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to design and validate ECU hardware for advanced propulsion and defence applications. You will develop analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits, perform schematic capture and PCB layout, and ensure EMC/EMI compliance throughout development.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded hardware design, proficiency with Altium or Mentor PADS, and a strong ability to collaborate with systems, software and test teams in a high‑tech environment in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years hands-on experience in embedded/control hardware design.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware architectures for ECUs and control boards.
• Design analog, digital and mixed-signal control hardware circuits.
• Define interfaces between sensors, actuators and systems.
• Perform schematic design and PCB layout activities and verification.
• Ensure EMC/EMI compliance and environmental qualification readiness.
• Coordinate with systems, software, test, quality and certification teams.
