Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Technician to provide technical support across fire alarm, voice evacuation and central battery systems. You will handle maintenance, trouble shooting, programming, testing and commissioning, with a focus on preventive and corrective tasks per guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing service reports, daily updates to the site engineer, and leading technicians to ensure timely task completion; strong communication and self-starting work

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems.
• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.
• Fire alarm programming license holder preferred.
• Knowledge of central battery systems (Cooper/ CEAG/ Inotec).
• Knowledge of public addressing and voice evacuation systems.
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems (FM200/NOVEC/INERGEN).
• Basic knowledge in firefighting systems.
• Strong communication and proactive, independent work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fire alarm, voice evacuation and central battery systems as per scope of work.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per the approved schedule.
• Prepare field service reports and checklists.
• Report to site engineer on technical concerns and status daily.
• Manage technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Support service engineer for customer technical concerns.
