Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Technician - Security to support commissioning, installing and servicing CCTV and access control systems. You will replace controllers, perform on-site verifications, and manage a team of technicians on a 24/7 roster while maintaining safety standards.

You will leverage Intercom, Master Clock, PA systems, and ELV integrations, including lifts and ANPR, and coordinate with third‑party providers to ensure smooth handovers and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience programming, installing, commissioning and servicing CCTV platforms (Pelco Endura, VideoXpert, Milestone ExacqVision, Victor VMS) and Access Control (P2K, CCURE, Salto), plus Visitor Management Systems.
• Strong technical expertise with Intercom, Master Clock and Public Address (PA) systems.
• Experience with structured cabling systems.
• Hands-on integration work involving lifts, barriers, ANPR and other ELV systems.
• Ability to organize and utilize technical resources and coordinate with third‑party service providers.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to guide others to solutions.
• Commitment to safety policies and professional standards.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in preparing incident reports and root cause analyses.
• Hands-on with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ADMCC regulations and related drawings.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Program, install, commission and service CCTV platforms and Access Control systems.
• Replace controllers, perform system verifications and PPM activities on-site.
• Maintain safety standards and produce handover documents for customers.
• Lead and coordinate technicians and subcontractors on a roster-based 24/7 duty plan.
• Provide system operation training and support to customers.
