Mashreqbank PSC seeks a senior Regional Financial Institutions lead to formulate and execute an organization-wide FI strategy for Eastern and Southern African markets. You will build relationships with regional FIs, identify opportunities, and coordinate with product partners to deliver cross-sell initiatives across Trade, Cash Management, Treasury and Capital Markets.

You will leverage deep market knowledge, regulatory awareness and strong leadership to drive asset growth while maintaining risk

Formación

• Experience building and maintaining high-value relationships with regional financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of trade, cash management, treasury and capital markets products.
• Excellent knowledge of FI credit processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability to guide cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, lead and implement business and client strategies to maximise value for Mashreq while managing risk appetite.
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers in regional FIs to drive opportunities.
• Anticipate client needs and provide solutions with product partners across regions.
• Coordinate with MB country teams to identify untapped FI opportunities and expand footprint.
• Guide product partners to focus on economically viable opportunities for the franchise.
• Maintain extensive connections with traders, importers and exporters to leverage trade corridors.
• Monitor market dynamics and trajectory in assigned markets to exploit opportunities in Trade, Cash Management, TCM and Sovereigns.
• Drive cross-sell and long-term relationship development to achieve asset growth and portfolio quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and local regulations.
