Job summary

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of kitchen, laundry, and restaurant equipment, as well as MEP systems, ensuring safety and compliance with HACCP and ISO standards.

The role provides technical supervision to the Facilities team, coordinates maintenance activities, maintains PPM records, trains staff, and supports CAPEX projects to minimize downtime and sustain uninterrupted luxury

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma/ Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with minimum five Years experience in large scale commercial kitchen, refrigeration, laundry equipment operations, repair and maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, fault-finding, and rectification skills for electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive/Corrective Maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in restricted access, confined, or challenging work areas, as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team, effectively managing resources to ensure all tasks and work orders are completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and property requirements.
• Escalate significant technical, operational, safety, and maintenance issues to senior management with clear recommendations.
• Maintain PPM records and ensure calibration and inspections are up to date.
• Provide technical coordination and support for CAPEX and culinary projects, ensuring alignment with specifications and safety standards.
