Job summary

IBS Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the complete procurement process for our event production and scenic fabrication projects. You will source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms, issue POs, and coordinate deliveries to meet project deadlines. A strong knowledge of the UAE supplier and materials market is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience, UAE preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, cost comparison, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete procurement process for events and scenic fabrication projects.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and compare costs.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms; issue Purchase Orders and track deliveries.
• Coordinate with Project, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts and Management teams to meet deadlines.
• Manage materials list including timber, steel, aluminum, fabrics, paints, hardware, electrical materials, printing materials and tools.
