Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking a procurement officer in Dubai to coordinate queries, prepare purchase plans, and manage inventories. The role involves reviewing and approving products, handling payments, and ensuring supplier accreditation and SLAs for events.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ procurement experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and supervisory capability with a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement queries, documentation, registers, and filing systems.
• Prepare purchase plans for equipment, services, and supplies.
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for Events.
• Manage payment terms, negotiation, and optimization.
• Plan and achieve supplier accreditation and service level management.
• Coordinate annual overseas orders and maintain daily records.
• Barcode assets and update asset registers.
• Conduct annual stock asset takes.
• Submit vendor accounts for timely payment.
• Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with suppliers.
• Provide policy analysis and recommendations for purchasing and leasing.
