Job summary

IBS GROUP in Dubai is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement for our event production and scenic fabrication projects. You will source suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate terms, issue POs, and coordinate deliveries to ensure project deadlines are met.

Located in Dubai, UAE, the role requires strong UAE market knowledge and the ability to work with Project, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts, and Management teams to secure materials at competitive prices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in UAE.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, cost comparison, and communication skills.
• Experience sourcing materials for event production and exhibitions.
• Ability to work with multiple teams to meet project deadlines.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and organized Purchasing Manager to join our event production and scenic fabrication company in Dubai.

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the complete procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and payment terms, issuing Purchase Orders, and coordinating deliveries.

The role requires strong knowledge of the UAE supplier and materials market and experience sourcing materials for event production, exhibitions, scenic fabrication, stage sets, temporary structures, fit-out, or construction projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts, and Management teams to ensure all required materials and services are purchased at competitive prices and delivered according to project deadlines.

Key materials may include timber, plywood/MDF, steel, aluminum, acrylic, fabrics, paints, hardware, electrical materials, printing materials, tools, consumables, rental equipment, and other project-specific requirements.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the UAE. Strong negotiation, supplier management, cost comparison, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
