Job summary

Tanqeeb is recruiting a Senior Estimation Engineer for Dubai to lead cost estimation, tendering and BIQ take-offs for civil, infrastructure and MEP projects. You will prepare technical and commercial bid proposals and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of UAE experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Candy CCS, CostX, PlanSwift and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years in estimation, tendering, and quantity surveying in construction.
• Experience across building, infrastructure and MEP projects.
• Proficient in Candy CCS, CostX, PlanSwift or similar estimation tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specs, and BOQ.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Take-offs from drawings, BIM models, and contracts.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and PM teams.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with specs, contracts and company standards.
• Maintain estimation databases and historical pricing.
• Prepare bid proposals and tender presentations.
• Support cost optimization and project budgeting.
