Job summary

ADNOC Gas seeks an experienced ESG professional to lead development, implementation and monitoring of ESG strategy. You will ensure alignment with international standards and integrate ESG into operations and governance across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing frameworks, monitoring compliance, conducting materiality assessments, and engaging with investors, regulators and communities to advance sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years in ESG/sustainability, ideally in a large energy organization.
• Knowledge of GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, GHG Protocol.
• Familiarity with ESG rating methodologies (MSCI, Sustainalytics).
• Strong materiality and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and rollout of ESG frameworks, policies, and performance metrics.
• Monitor ESG compliance across units and support internal audits and reporting.
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG into decisions.
• Prepare ESG disclosures and reports per GRI, SASB, and ADNOC standards.
• Engage stakeholders including communities and regulators.
• Track global ESG trends and recommend improvements to practices.
• Plan materiality assessments, benchmarking and stakeholder engagement.
• Design and implement ESG guidelines, procedures, and programs.
• Engage in external assurance of the sustainability report.
• Engage in ESG rating assessments and improvement actions.
• Develop capacity building programs to foster sustainability mindset.
