Job summary

ADNOC Group seeks a senior ESG practitioner to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the ESG strategy across the organization. You will ensure alignment with international standards, oversee governance, and drive sustainable practices across operations and projects.

The role emphasizes robust reporting, materiality assessments, and engagement with investors and communities to advance ADNOC Gas’s sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 8+ years of ESG/sustainability experience, preferably in large energy/gas organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of global/regional ESG standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, GHG Protocol).
• Familiarity with ESG rating methodologies (MSCI, Sustainalytics).
• Strong materiality assessment capability and stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and rollout of ESG frameworks, policies, and metrics.
• Monitor ESG compliance across units and support audits and reporting.
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ESG into operations and strategy.
• Prepare ESG disclosures in line with leading standards and ADNOC guidelines.
• Engage stakeholders including investors, regulators, and communities.
• Track trends and advise on improvements to sustainability practices.
• Lead capacity-building and awareness programs on ESG topics.
