Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle Export Middle East & Africa is seeking a Senior E-Commerce Executive in Dubai to lead and execute the ecommerce strategy, ensuring targets and alignment with PMV ecommerce goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in quickCommerce or FMCG ecommerce, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to build partnerships and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business or related field.
• At least two years of experience in quickCommerce or FMCG ecommerce.
• Experience with leading ecommerce platforms and digital marketplaces in UAE/MMEA.
• Strong ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecommerce strategy to meet and exceed budgeted targets and align with PMV ecommerce goals.
• Develop annual budgets and review progress through quarterly assessments with e-retailers.
• Forecast monthly with country managers and distributors to ensure inventory and sales alignment.
• Create customer business plans with KPIs and build partnerships with e-retailers.
• Maintain SKU availability and service levels above 85% across customers.
• Identify new ecommerce growth areas through market trends and insights.
• Enhance the customer digital journey using data-driven insights to boost engagement and conversions.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive e-retailer platform strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Leading and executing the ecommerce strategy to meet and exceed budgeted sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall PMV ecommerce goals.
• Developing annual budget plans in coordination with cross-functional teams and reviewing progress through quarterly assortment assessments with e-retailers to optimize product mix.
• Maintaining accurate and timely monthly rolling forecasts jointly with country managers and distributors to ensure inventory and sales alignment.
• Creating comprehensive customer business plans that include joint KPIs and targets, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with e-retailers.
• Ensuring consistent SKU availability and high service levels across all customers, targeting service levels above 85% to maximize customer satisfaction and sales effectiveness.
• Identifying and capitalizing on new ecommerce growth areas, leveraging market trends and consumer insights to expand Perfetti Van Melle’s digital footprint.
• Implementing and enhancing the customer digital journey experience by utilizing data-driven insights to optimize engagement, sales conversion, and brand presence on e-retailer platforms.
• Developing and executing a comprehensive e-retailer platform strategy to strengthen market presence and improve overall ecommerce ecosystem efficiency.

Your role will be key in fostering a collaborative environment across markets and ensuring that ecommerce initiatives are effectively translated into business outcomes, with a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. You bring at least two years of experience working within quickCommerce or FMCG e-commerce environments, with a track record of delivering results in both sales and marketing roles.
