Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Document Controller to manage project documentation using electronic document management systems. You will register, track, and archive engineering and construction documents, coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of document control experience, with strong proficiency in ACONEX and MS Office. Abu Dhabi project experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years document control experience in an engineering consulting or project environment.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel) and working knowledge of Windows and document control processes.
• Strong experience in ACONEX.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate document flow between engineering, construction, and support teams.
• Process documents through all procedural steps with numbering and approval workflows.
• Receive, register, track, and distribute documents; maintain logs and reports.
• Scan and archive documents for electronic storage and maintain filing system.
• Maintain distribution schedules and expedite reviews and releases.
• Support junior document control staff to ensure procedures.
• Contribute as a deadline-driven team player and assist with ad-hoc admin tasks.
