Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a dynamic and results-driven (Sr.) Director, Solutions to lead a high-performing team that supports multiple sales divisions in driving business growth in EMEA. This leadership role is pivotal in aligning solution strategies with revenue goals and ensuring seamless execution across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering; desirable
• Demonstrated ability in product marketing and/or product management
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS)
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, and storage products (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, CEPH)

Responsibilities

• Develop product roadmap and lead integration of storage/server and JBOD systems
• Define strategy and collaborate with marketing, engineering and business development
• Create technical product requirements for cloud/data center infra
• Engage with customers at various levels to convey capabilities and gather feedback
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and vendors
• Provide product trainings to internal teams, sales, and customers
• Deliver 3rd level customer support as needed
