Job summary

Cyient in United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to deploy, configure and monitor enterprise desktop environments. You will design and maintain cross-platform images, manage security policies, and support Office 365 users.

The role requires hands-on Windows, Linux and macOS expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and ITIL V3 qualification. A Master’s degree is expected, with a focus on end-user support and process improvement.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field.
25+ years of work experience as Senior Support Engineer/Desktop Support.
ITIL V3 qualification.
Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Office 365.
Strong troubleshooting and process-improvement skills.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all desktop equipment across platforms; create a seamless user experience with workplace technology.
Design, build, and maintain desktop images and solutions across platforms; maintain applications, system configurations, and security policies (patches, anti-virus, encryption).
Resolve tier-3 support incidents and train Desktop technicians; document, maintain and improve standard desktop-management processes.
Excellent customer-service skills; work with all teams to uphold standards of excellence and promote teamwork.
