Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the IT Systems Architecture, Design & Development team. You will design and optimize data pipelines, build data warehouses, and enable analytics.

The role demands 5-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience with Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Airflow, plus strong English communication. This on-site position offers a competitive AED package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

5-7 years hands-on data engineering experience.
Proven data warehouse and dimensional modeling experience.
Strong knowledge of batch, incremental, CDC, and merge/upsert data loading.
Extensive Snowflake data modeling and performance optimization.
Experience with Airflow for DAGs, scheduling, monitoring.
Bachelor's degree; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Airflow
Build scalable batch, incremental, real-time, and CDC-based ingestion
Develop and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models for analytics
Create and manage Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration, scheduling, monitoring
Optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and loading processes
Translate business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions
Enhance data platform performance, reliability, scalability, cost efficiency
Produce technical documentation and support analytics teams with high‑quality data assets
