Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join the IT Systems Architecture, Design & Development team in the UAE. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and warehouses to support analytics across the resort project.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of data engineering experience with Snowflake and Airflow, and holds a related bachelor’s degree. Fluency in English and office-based work are expected, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

5-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
Strong SQL, Python, ETL/ELT development and data pipeline automation experience.
Experience designing and optimizing data warehouses and dimensional models.
Proficiency with Snowflake, data loading, query optimization, and security.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Airflow.
Build scalable batch, incremental, real-time, and CDC-based data ingestion solutions.
Develop and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models for analytics and reporting.
Create and manage Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
Optimize Snowflake data models, query performance, and data loading processes.
Translate business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
Enhance data platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Produce technical documentation and support analytics teams with high-quality data assets.
