Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the IT Systems Architecture Design & Development team. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and warehouses to support analytics initiatives.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Airflow expertise, with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT and modern data architectures. You will translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, ensure performance and cost efficiency, and produce clear technical

Qualifications

5-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
Strong SQL, Python, ETL/ELT and data pipeline automation skills.
Experience designing data warehouses and analytics-ready structures.
Snowflake data modeling, loading, optimization, and security expertise.
Airflow DAG development for orchestration, scheduling and monitoring.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related; SnowPro Core / Databricks / Azure certs preferred.
Excellent English communication; office-based data platform experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Airflow.
Build scalable batch, incremental, real-time, and CDC-based ingestion solutions.
Develop and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models for analytics and reporting.
Create and manage Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
Optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and data loading processes.
Translate business requirements into scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.
Enhance data platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Produce technical documentation and support analytics teams with high-quality data assets.
