Job summary

Halian in Dubai seeks a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for BI and analytics. You will work with Snowflake, SQL, and Python to deliver robust data solutions aligned with business needs.

You will collaborate with business users and BI teams, ensure data quality and governance, and contribute to migrations toward Azure Data Factory and modern data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with Snowflake in production.
• Strong SQL development, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Python for data processing, automation, and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Snowflake data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Develop data models, transformations, views, and stored procedures.
• Write and optimize complex SQL for high-performance queries.
• Create Python-based data ingestion and orchestration solutions.
• Build ingestion pipelines with Dataiku and integrate SharePoint, Salesforce, SFTP sources.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
