Job summary

ASGC in Dubai seeks a Senior Cost Controller with a strong track record in civil, mechanical, electrical and MEP cost management to lead cost control across major building and infrastructure projects.

You will develop budgets, monitor expenditures, forecast cash flow, prepare variance analyses, and collaborate with PM, Commercial, Procurement and Finance teams to optimize value. The ideal candidate has 10+ years UAE/GCC experience, ERP proficiency, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of cost control experience in construction.
Strong UAE/GCC experience on major building and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated expertise in Civil and MEP cost management.
Advanced analytical, budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and cost management software.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives.
Evaluate change orders, claims, and variations from a cost perspective.
Collaborate closely with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Monitor resource productivity and project cost efficiency.
Maintain and enhance cost control processes through ERP and project management systems.
