Job summary

AL TAIF is seeking an experienced contracts and procurement professional to manage end-to-end contracting activities in support of maintenance and supply chain operations. You will lead bid processes, prepare and negotiate contracts and POs, ensure compliance with import/export and ERP systems, mentor team members and coordinate with finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business/contracts management & purchasing or related field preferred.
• Professional Certificates in Contracts/ Procurement preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a contracts/purchasing role.
• Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written.
• Have or be able to obtain a UAE driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements analysis with requesters and end users to define procurement/contract requirements and SOW scope.
• Lead pre-bid conferences and prepare ITT, RFP, and RFQ documents; evaluate technical and commercial bids.
• Prepare final contractual instruments (POs, BPA, SMA) with required documents and terms.
• Support cradle-to-grave procurement activities: bid packages, risk assessment, negotiations, and vendor selection.
• Manage contract administration during vendor execution; resolve non-conformances, track expediting/penalties, verify services in ERP, and vendor payments.
• Prepare external correspondence and internal memos; track contract status and metrics; ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Coordinate PO/subcontract changes; oversee vendor performance and report to senior management.
• Mentor team members and safeguard high-value property; maintain confidentiality and security of company documents.
