Job summary

AL TAIF is seeking a contracts and procurement professional to support requirements analysis with requesters and end users, oversee pre-bid conferences, and issue ITTs, RFPs and RFQs to vendors. You will prepare memos and conduct technical and commercial evaluations for file.

The role requires preparing final contractual instruments (POs, BPAs, SMAs), cradle-to-grave procurement activities, risk assessment, vendor negotiations, expediting and penalties, and ensuring ERP and security processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts management & purchasing or related field is required.
• Professional Certificates in Contracts/ Procurement are preferred.
• A minimum of eight (5) years of experience in a contracts/purchasing role is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• UAE driver’s license is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements analysis with requesters and end users to define procurement/contract requirements and SOW.
• Lead pre-bid conferences and issue ITTs, RFPs and RFQs to vendors; prepare evaluations.
• Prepare final contractual instruments including POs, BPAs and SMAs with required documents and flow-down clauses.
• Support cradle-to-grave procurement activities including bid packages, risk assessment, proposals, negotiations and vendor selection.
• Track vendor performance, assist in expediting, and ensure ERP system updates and payments are accurate.
• Coordinate internal and external correspondence and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Oversee changes to POs, subcontracts and BPAs; coordinate with departments and finance.
• Maintain contract/subcontract records and communications, and mentor team members.
