Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commercial management and civil/infrastructure supervision.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.
• Contract administration, procurement, and commercial negotiations.
• Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi regulations, compliance requirements, and local business practices.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies (preferred).
• Proficiency in financial analysis and cost control methodologies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil and infrastructure projects from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee commercial aspects including contract administration, procurement, and vendor management to optimize profitability.
• Monitor budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures to maintain financial performance.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities.
• Analyze project data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Manage change orders, claims, and disputes in accordance with contract terms and policies.
