Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial management and civil/infrastructure project supervision.
• Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.
• Strong expertise in contract administration, procurement, and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi regulations, compliance requirements, and local business practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies (preferred).
• Proficiency in financial analysis and cost control methodologies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement, and vendor management to optimize project profitability.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures to maintain financial performance.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all project activities.
• Analyze project data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Manage change orders, claims, and disputes in accordance with contract terms and organizational policies.
