Senior Civil Planning Engineer - Primavera P6 & Controls

Job summary

Confidential is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to oversee planning and scheduling for civil works in large-scale Dubai projects. You will manage Primavera P6 and coordinate with PMs and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include baseline, look-ahead, and recovery planning; monitoring milestones and critical paths; producing progress reports and participating in meetings with consultants and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil engineering or equal.
• 8–10 years of planning/ scheduling experience in UAE/GCC/India.
• Proven large-scale civil construction project scheduling experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel.
• Strong project controls, cash flow, and resource planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 for civil activities.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and subcontractors for progress updates.
• Integrate civil planning with architectural schedules for seamless execution.
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans and delay analyses.
• Track milestones and critical paths to identify delays and propose mitigations.
• Generate progress reports, histograms, and S-curves.
• Participate in meetings with consultants and clients.
• Input for monthly invoicing and procurement/delivery planning.
• Conduct time impact analysis and support claims documentation if needed.
