Job summary

Drake & Scull International in Dubai is looking for an independent Planning Engineer with strong Primavera P6 skills and UAE construction experience. You will develop, update and monitor Baseline, Revised and Recovery Programmes, ensuring CPM integrity and on-time execution.

The role requires expert knowledge of CPM logic, float analysis, progress measurement and recovery planning, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, MEP and Handover teams to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Primavera P6: advanced proficiency mandatory.
• UAE construction experience preferred; ability to independently handle full planning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, update and monitor Baseline, Revised and Recovery Programmes in Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, CPM logic, Critical Path, float analysis, progress measurement, and recovery planning.
• Integrate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, MEP, T&C and Handover activities into the programme.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes, S-curves, manpower histograms, dashboards and weekly/monthly reports.
• Monitor delays and support EOT, delay analysis and time-impact assessments.
• Coordinate independently with Project, Construction, MEP, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Review and integrate subcontractor programmes.
• Good understanding of authority approvals, NOCs, inspections, utility connections, and completion/handover requirements.
• Experience with RAK authorities, Dubai authorities, Trakhees and Nakheel requirements is an added advantage.
