Job summary

ESOL Global, Dubai, seeks a Senior Network & Firewall Engineer (L3) with CCIE Enterprise to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade networking and security infrastructures. You will lead complex troubleshooting, migrations, and security deployments across data centers and campuses.

The role requires 8-10+ years of hands-on experience, Cisco routing and switching mastery, and proficiency with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and security operations.
• CCIE Enterprise certification is mandatory.
• Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Proficient with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower firewalls.
• Experience delivering large-scale network migrations and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data center, and branches.
• Lead L3 troubleshooting and act as highest escalation point for complex incidents.
• Configure and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS).
• Manage Layer 2/3 technologies (VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP).
• Deploy and optimize Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower platforms.
• Guide network migrations and modernization projects.
• Produce technical docs, design specs, and implementation plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project teams.
