Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and EPC execution of a new 2.6 GW CCGT project near Abu Dhabi. You will manage the owner's engineer team, oversee EPC contractors, and ensure compliance with QA/QC, HSSE, and regulatory standards throughout design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The role involves coordinating with O&M, customers, and vendors, maintaining schedules, controlling costs, and archiving critical project documents

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
• Min 15 yrs experience in project management in CCGT project, Power and Utilities projects.
• Strong leadership presence and communication skills to coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Decisive, solution-oriented with attention to documentation and safety.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and EPC execution of a 2.6GW CCGT project and manage the execution plan.
• Head Owner's engineer team to oversee EPC contractors, vendors and suppliers through COD.
• Ensure alignment with project standards, schedule, budget and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate tie-ins with existing plant to prevent unplanned shutdowns.
• Oversee PTW system reviews and lead progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure proper document control and archival of As Built documents.
