Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) invites an Electrical Engineer to join a greenfield CCGT project near Abu Dhabi. You will oversee electrical engineering aspects across design, construction and operation, ensuring compliance with standards.

Based in Taweelah, UAE, the project spans 3 to 4 years with reporting to the Project Manager. You will review EPC designs, assist equipment selection, supervise construction activities and maintain quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in power generation or EPC projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review electrical engineering project plans with the team.
• Review EPC design documents and provide comments.
• Assist in selecting electrical equipment and materials.
• Oversee electrical construction activities for compliance.
• Implement quality control for electrical components.
• Develop and manage electrical budgets with PMs.
• Maintain documentation and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate progress and issues to senior management.
