Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy and Water seeks an experienced I&C Engineer to oversee instrumentation and control systems for a 2,400 MW greenfield CCGT project near Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities cover design reviews, installation oversight, FATs, and commissioning support.

The role requires 5–7 years in power projects with Combined Cycle experience, IEC/ISA standards knowledge, and strong QA/QC and HSSE adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of proven I&C engineering experience in power projects.
• Combined Cycle experience mandatory.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/ISA standards and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise I&C works by EPC contractor and subcontractors.
• Review design drawings, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets for compliance.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to resolve interfaces.
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for I&C systems.
• Maintain site records and weekly progress reports highlighting risks.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSSE compliance throughout the project.
