Job summary

Confidential in the UAE is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue through Customs, Duty, bonded warehousing and integrated logistics solutions within ports and distribution networks.

You will identify opportunities, build a robust customer pipeline across FMCG, automotive and shipping sectors, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver compliant, commercially viable solutions.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have at least 7 years in business development, commercial, customs, freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Customs and Duty regulations including import/export processes.
• Track record of acquiring customers and generating revenue.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across ports, logistics, warehousing, customs-related services and regional distribution.
• Develop and maintain a strong customer pipeline across FMCG, automotive/RoRo, freight forwarding, 3PL and import/export sectors.
• Build relationships with importers, exporters, distributors, shipping lines and logistics providers.
• Develop commercially attractive solutions involving customs clearance, duty management, bonded warehousing, storage and onward distribution.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models and business cases, and negotiate customer contracts.
• Identify opportunities to develop new logistics products, revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercially viable and compliant customer solutions.
