The role requires superior Modern Standard Arabic and professional British English, with sensitivity to government protocols and official terminology. You will lead editorial projects, translate content and ensure language accuracy across materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Languages or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional copywriting with bilingual content development.
• Experience producing original content in Arabic and English.
• Experience drafting press releases, speeches and leadership messages.
• Knowledge of government communications protocols and institutional terminology.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop Arabic and English content for websites, social media, newsletters, brochures and campaigns.
• Create headlines, captions, scripts and event communications.
• Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Draft and edit press releases, speeches and leadership messages.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership and official announcements.
• Translate and adapt content between Arabic and English while preserving meaning.
• Review materials for grammar, terminology and consistency.
• Develop bilingual editorial guidelines and glossaries.
• Research subjects, verify facts and coordinate with internal teams.
• Coordinate with departments and external agencies to meet deadlines.
• Maintain an archive of approved content and ensure confidentiality.
