Job summary

Salt in Abu Dhabi seeks a genuinely bilingual writer to create, translate, localise, and quality-check English and Arabic copy across campaigns, presentations, digital channels, and stakeholder materials. The role ensures linguistic accuracy, brand consistency, and audience relevance.

You will craft clear bilingual copy, adapt tone for government, executive, partner, customer, and community audiences, translate between English and Arabic, manage terminology, proofread, and ensure correct Arabic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in translation, languages, communications, journalism, marketing, or related discipline.
• Professional fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Write clear English and Arabic copy for campaigns, social media, websites, CRM, events, and corporate comms.
• Adapt tone for government, executive, partner, customer, and community audiences; develop headlines and calls to action.
• Translate and localise content between English and Arabic while preserving meaning, tone, and intent.
• Maintain terminology across investment, government, technology, aviation, healthcare, fintech, and other sectors.
• Proofread materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, factual accuracy; maintain bilingual style guides.
• Review final layouts for line breaks, punctuation, text direction, and Arabic typography.
• Support speeches, keynotes, briefing notes, executive presentations, and stakeholder materials.
• Collaborate with content teams to simplify complex language for infographics and strategic reports.
• Use approved AI and translation tools to support drafts and terminology checks.
• Apply full human review and flag risks in machine-generated content.
