First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Head of Investment Advisory - Private Banking for an on-site role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position combines leadership of the Investment Advisory teams in Abu Dhabi and Dubai with direct responsibility for advising select Private Banking and Key Client Group clients.

The role requires extensive financial markets expertise, cross-asset investment knowledge, portfolio management capability, and strong people leadership to deliver investment solutions aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Master's degree or relevant industry qualification may apply.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar environment.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets and financial tools.
• Deep understanding of the global economy and capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income analysis.
• Detailed understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction.
• Strong knowledge of risk management for client investment portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead Investment Advisory teams across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
• Attract and retain experienced investment professionals.
• Provide complex cross-asset advisory for Private Banking clients.
• Monitor portfolios and ensure alignment with client risk profiles.
• Oversee advisory governance and execution per bank policies.
