Job summary

Smart Bricks is building an AI-driven talent function to recruit exceptional people from leading AI labs and AI-native companies. You will own priority searches end-to-end, craft personalised outreach, and close offers while partnering with the Founder & CEO in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

You will bring 4+ years in AI recruitment, with experience sourcing from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind or similar, and you’ll work across functions and international markets to shape the team from

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on recruitment or headhunting experience, including at least 1 year focused on AI labs.
• A specialist search or AI-company recruiting background.
• A track record of recruiting from leading AI teams.
• Evidence of convincing passive candidates to move.
• Experience hiring across functions within AI businesses.
• Experience recruiting for startups and working directly with founders.
• Strong candidate judgement and personal credibility.

Responsibilities

• Proactive headhunting: Identify outstanding people not actively seeking a new role and build focused target lists.
• Personalised outreach: Write thoughtful messages leveraging networks and specialist communities.
• Candidate relationships and closing: Understand motivations and close offers.
• Searches across functions: Prioritise hiring with founders and team leads.
• Candidate assessment: Evaluate accomplishments and suitability for an early-stage company.
• End-to-end execution: Screenings, interviews, offers and onboarding coordination.
• Pipeline and market intelligence: Track priority candidates and share feedback.
