Job summary

element MEA in the UAE seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager for Agrochemicals, Agriculture and Pest Management to drive growth across the UAE. The role focuses on converting new business opportunities in agriculture, crop protection and pest-management services.

The ideal candidate has a strong UAE market understanding, a B2B network and proven BD experience from prospecting to contract closure. Field-based role with cross-functional collaboration and tender submissions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Commercial roles within agrochemicals, pesticides, crop protection, agriculture or pest management.
• Strong experience in B2B business development and client acquisition.
• Proven experience managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Experience with tenders, RFPs, RFQs and commercial proposal development.
• Experience working with farms, agricultural businesses, landscaping companies, government entities or commercial accounts.
• Strong understanding of agricultural products, pesticide/agrochemical solutions and their commercial applications.
• UAE market experience is highly preferred, with an established network in related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across the agriculture, agrochemical, pesticide and pest-management sectors.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
• Develop new customer accounts while expanding opportunities within existing relationships.
• Conduct market mapping and identify emerging opportunities across agriculture, landscaping, horticulture and pest management.
• Develop and execute account-specific business development strategies.
• Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, presentations and commercial discussions.
• Lead commercial discussions with prospective customers within approved authority.
• Support pricing, commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
